I've blogged for over 6 years, and blogged about the Dallas Cowboys a lot. Preliminary research shows I've used the word "Cowboys" in a post atleast once on 26 different months. Probably every month during football season the last 6 years.
But, I've never gotten to blog after a Cowboy's playoff victory. Until now. This is the blog. Hooray!
I was spoiled by the Cowboys when I was a kid. They had 3 Superbowl wins by the time I was ten. We used to record all their playoff games then I would watch them over and over, even during summer times and such.
In fact, I'm typing this whilst wrapped up in a Cowboys blanket I got in 1995.
As I got older, I had plenty of times when there was optimism that was ultimately unfulfilled. Oftentimes in heartbreaking fashion. I went through these difficult stretches with other mates of mine, like Andres and Jeffrey. Vindicated 13 years out. In 13 years I'll be 37, so let's hope that doesn't happen again
