In a fit of boredom/nostalgia the other night, I read through some of my old posts, and at one point in May '08 I predicted my future would go something like this, "And I'll make up some personal goals like half-marathons and reading books and the like, but other than that it'll be sort of go with the flow."

    I'm a regular Nostradamus, honestly.

Sometimes when I read these old posts, I don't remember the stories or the context.  It's like someone else slightly more clever and witty than I am now wrote them.  Maybe my brain and memory has become that decayed, or maybe it comes with the territory.

I won the crappy JV Fantasy League I was in.  Whoop-dee-doo.  Whoop-dee-doo-doo.  The stock market is slightly fun because it happens all day everyday, but not on weekends.  I forgot what I did on Sundays before NFL.  I think I'll plunge deeper into Lake Suicidal when this season is over.

Here's something I can't figure out.  Why do you even have to sign credit card reciepts, especially on the machine?  When I have to sign the thing at Kroger, I always use my left hand and make a line and loop-dee-loops.

I'm hoping one day I can call up the credit card company and say "Yeah, I didn't buy this stuff." and they'll say, "Well, hold on sir, we've got your signature right here." and I'll say, "No, thats just a line and circles."

I'm pretty proud of myself because I bought these new paintings and actually hung them up.  All this without accidently breaking anything or hammering my thumb.

My bedroom here almost feels like a real bedroom now.  To be honest, I'd be perfectly fine just living in the 1-all-purpose-room, 1-bathroom sorta quarters I had in college.  Instead, the couch serves the purpose of a bed when I'm in the living room.

On days like today, where I wake up at 9:30 (4 hours after normal work wakeup time), work out, eat something, and lounge around watching football, occasionally I'll still think "This day seems pretty long."  Now, imagine how I feel when the day is me sitting at work.  Right.
