My fastest pace ever today for a certified race. Came in at 80th out of some 1315 people in this 5-miler.
I was a bit scared that I had started out too fast, as my kidneys and that started to hurt. Didn't make much sense. But, I outlasted it and had some good energy to finish.
But, as I passed a few people near the end, I started coasting at a pretty-fast pace when I noticed this 30-something chick dead on sprint behind me. So I had to kick it in to super high gear, but my legs weren't working right so I looked a bit like a horse in gallop. But I still beat her. Hopefully they got a good picture of that. The crowd was all into it at that point too.
Read more! I have four more days of work, then 10 days off for the holidays and all. That'll be good. Need even more head-clearing.
I did another rewatch of the original UK version of The Office this past week. Sparking my desire to move to Europe (more specifically/conveniently England) even more. I swear, it seems like this isn't leaving my system anytime soon.
