  • This Medicine's Experimental

It's weird how I've only been around 24 years but I'm already an expert on pretty much everything.  And that doesn't even include the seven years before the age of reason.  Imagine how much I'll know by the time I'm 40.  It will be like drilling a hole while digging for oil and then hitting an existing pipeline and it just keeps spewing everywhere.

    On Relationships
The very most important thing to remember in relationships is to just do whatever you want.  Don't adjust for anyone, that's pointless.  Just carry on like you'd like and if they don't like it, then whatever, it wasn't meant to be anyway.  If they do like it, then all the better.

    On Money
Alot of people like to say it's important to keep a budget and write things down or whatever when it comes to finances.  Wrong.  Everyone knows how much money they have pretty much.  Just follow your gut.  If you think you're spending too much, then stop for right then.  Also, you can try to apply this simple equation:

Average Hourly Wage > Cost of Fun / Hours of Fun

Make sure that holds true and you'll be good in the long run.

    On Diet
Ostensibly, the main way I control my diet is with volume.  Like, I'll eat bowls and bowls of peas, mushrooms, and asparagus until my stomach is all full and I can't move.  If it had been that many bowls of donut holes, I'd be done for.

    On Exercise
The worst part of exercise is thinking about having to do it later, and then thinking about having to do it while you're doing it.  That's why it's important to just force yourself to start, and then listen to a podcast or something while going at it.

    On Death
It's a fight.  Whatever happens, happens.

    On Stuff That's Lame
I spent a good portion of today walking around asking people at work whether they sat on the same side with their significant other when at a booth at a restaurant, or on opposite sides.  This was spurred by the infuriation I feel when I see couples sharing one side.  I always point them out, and I never cease to be amazingly annoyed.

Luckily, I turned out right in the long run as my survey yielded opposite sides as the overwhelming favorite.  I tested basically every race/culture available in the world too.  So Earth is in agreement on this one.
