  • Weighing In

I should have done this the other day but I didn't realize it's been a year since I got my awesome scale and posted the following stats:

    Weight: 183.4 lbs

    Body Fat %:  9.2

    Water %:  62.2

    Muscle Mass: 158 lbs

    Metabolic age: 12

Alright, so like a few hundred days later, survey says...

    Weight: 175.2 lbs

    Body Fat %:  10.7

    Water %:  60.4

    Muscle Mass: 148 lbs

    Metabolic age: 12

And boom goes the dynamite.  Since the body fat % will fluctuate by percentage points in a matter of hours, I take it with a grain of salt.  Or a grain of fat.

Here are some words of wisdom this morning and a preview of my motivational speaking circuit:

Anger is probably the most powerful and useful emotion you can have.  Whenever I need an extra pick-me-up, I try to get enraged.  Then you fill yourself with rage, and you burn it off, like a fuel.  This is useful for almost any task, from work assignments to exercising.  And it beats depression and sadness any day.  Playing angry works for sports, and living angry works for life.  Take it from me kids.

In other incredible news, I've been commissioned to make a slideshow video thing for a friend's wedding.  My reputation as a creative genius is at stake.  I will put all my life force into this task.  And come on, after all, I am the man who made this for a freaking Final Project as a freaking Chemical Engineering student; effectively melting the faces of all who bore witness.

It prompted my professor to wonder why I was in Chemical Engineering; a question I still ask myself today.  After graduating, is it too late to change your major?
