  • RIP

First things first: I need to decide whether I'm going to pull the trigger on getting the new iPhone or not.  As far as the plan goes, it's basically cost neutral with what I have currently. I've got about a couple of days to decide or I'll lock into another month of my current service.

Last things last: I had an ant farm once.  Actually, I had two families of ants.  The first was a weak, miserable, failure.  The second was pretty cool.  Their progression from nothing to something has been well documented in the media

But there's one thing I forgot to mention.  They died a long time ago.  Uh oh!  I knew there wasn't much chance of longterm survival.  What, being that there was no queen.  Yes, the ants were all gay.  And what's the one thing we know about gays? They can't procreate.

So, I think some escaped at some point.  And some died.  But they bury each other when they die so I lose track of them.  And eventually they stopped expanding their tunnels so I stuck them underneath my sink and forgot about it.

I was cleaning (gasp!) earlier and saw their home (tomb?) and remembered that I never gave them a proper sendoff.

So here it is.  The final testament to their greatness.  Their temple and tribute to their God and Leader: Me.

    Goodnight, Sweet Princes

Oh, I just had a thought type thing.  Maybe I'll hold off on making any iPhone purchases in the short term atleast until I know how much I'm going to have to pay for medical costs.  Farbeit from me to be the guy who cares about cost,  but I have $7,200 in medical bills pending and I can't be sure how much insurance is going to cover.  Luckily for me, my neurosis of keeping the highest comprehensive medical coverage is looking like it's going to pay off and all those medical insurance premiums are fixing to pay for themselves.  Take that.

P.S. - I take this great indescribable joy in seeing past relationships pack on the pounds via facebook photos.  I think this is a good sign in my quest of becoming more evil.  And more impetus to make sure no one gets such a joy from looking at pictures of me.

I was going to ask how your ants were doing. Seriously--I got my nephew one of those ant farms and he was going to find wild ants. I suggested he order them, because hopefully they'd come with a queen--and ant's don't survive without queens, right? Or least I wondered--so I was going to ask you how your ants were doing.

    My condolences.

I am so dissapointed the ants didn't make it. Did you feed them?

I am going to scan something and email it to you this week. I keep it taped inside a kitchen cabinet, so i keep forgetting. But this week I am going to remember!

I like your post script. I couldn't agree more. I get sick pleasure from similar types of things. I think facebook brings out the worst in all of us.
