A big day for long Iron Man streaks for me today. Day 14 of the workout streak. And week 11* of the Monday
Fast streak. *Where I skipped on holidays or vacations and I'm not totally sure if my count is accurate.
And
8,894 days of being alive. That's pretty good. Maybe I should do something totally out of the ordinary and celebrate day 10,000 on June 25, 2012.
In fact, I think I will. But it's a Monday. Oh well who cares...
You're Invited! Can You Be There? I Don't Know What I'm Gonna Wear!
I got 3 new shirts and a new pair of pants in today. These are dress shirts, mind you. I think it's pushed my closet balance to a majority of work clothes as opposed to fun clothes.
And that makes me sad. As everyone who knew me in college or knows me period knows, I love t-shirts. Especially funny and cool rare t-shirts. I took great pride in being unique and simultaneously not-lame. But alas, the end of an era. Unless I get laid off and get to wear t-shirts again as I sell my car and travel the world as a groupy for the circus.
Quick Factoids:
- I like the new song Satellite Skin by Modest Mouse. Bodes well for their new album.
- I listened to In Rainbows by Radiohead today at work after months of holding out. It was pretty cool, I guess. I like the song "House of Cards" alot. Oh no, I accidentally revealed the secret of my last post title! People will crack the code that most of the titles are just song lyrics! Except this one which I just made up on the spot!
- On a more serious note, in general, I have this rule though where I won't dismiss an album as rubbish until I listen to it once at work and then once while running.
Why does it seem like I'm always about to go fold laundry? Torture. Had to wash my new clothes. Oh well, gotta get it over with I guess.Editor's Correction: In the previous post I mentioned that Joey's 4th Annual Crawfish Festival was the first party I'd been to that a married friend hosted. This was NOT the case, as I went to Rachal's party back in August or so. EndlessMike03 regrets the error.

loved the fasting article. i am going to think about it some more. i have done 24 hour fasts in the past, but never weekly. would love to hear more thoughts on your experience.
