I have a dream. I have a dream of having two kids. And forcing one to play the violin. And forcing the other to play the piano. Then forcing them to play together while I provide the singing and mouth-guitar.
I don't know, I just really like music with piano and it's even better when they sneak in some violin. I wish I would have been taught an instrument. Alas, my only instrument is my brain. And my biceps.
I've been having a big problem lately dealing with haircuts. When do I get one? How do I tell them to cut it? It's like I'm only happy with a haircut 2 weeks after, and then it only lasts like one day. Maybe I should just give up and let it grow, let it grow, let it grow.
If there's one thing I am, it's an impulse buyer. I see something, I think to myself, "Should I buy that?", then I think, "Yes." I skip all the in-between parts.
But you know what? I like it. In fact, I can't think of a single thing I've impulse bought and regretted later (except maybe the Sega Saturn I won on eBay by accident back in highschool). Research is for the birds. Go to the store with a plan of something to buy, see something that you like, get it. The end. Also applicable on the internet.
Like Sunday I went to the mall with one object in mind. Sunglasses for running. I already have awesome sunglasses for walking around fancy cities and impressing the passerby's, but they weren't cut out for running in the Blackhole Sun. So I go to the mall Sunday, BOOM!, walk out with awesome sunglasses. Problem solved. Were they expensive? Well, expensive is such a relative term. My couch and sweet backpack were expensive too, but you know what? Stuff that's expensive is better, and sometimes it's only later that you figure it out.
I was thinking about how unfair it is that people can send out Save-The-Dates and horde all their friends' refrigerator spaces. What about the guys like me who aren't getting married but still want to be on your refrigerator? What's wrong with me saving a date? I can make commitments too. I just committed to a new pair of sunglasses. And I plan to make it official sometime in 2015.
So, let's murder those two birds.
Coming soon to a refrigerator near you.
