  • After The Havok That I'm Gonna Wreak

Some people might think that my current predicament at work is stressful.  You know, the deadlines, the confusion,  the deliverables.  But I'm really not stressed at all.  Why?  Because school was much more stressful.

Let's say you make a mistake at work.
Likely Outcome: You get reamed by your boss.
Extreme Outcome: You get laid off at some point in the future if you continually repeat such mistakes and miss deadlines and just suck at life.

Let's say you make a mistake at school.
You fail the assignment.  You fail the class.  You don't ever graduate.  So you never even have a job.

I'd rather be unemployed with a college degree than unemployed and a college dropout.

This guy agrees.  Except he has glasses.  So, he might have a college degree too.

Okay, per the continuation of certain serendipitous previously referenced events, I'm going to Spain in a month for a vacation.  It will more than likely be the best time of my life, and possibly a catapult into my future.  No, that doesn't mean I'll become a bullfighter.  But maybe.  Maybe just as a globetrotting drifter.

I have my plane tickets already, but I haven't done much research.  I might as well try now.
    Google Image Search "Spain"...

Looks pretty nice.  Seems to be surrounded by water.  Water usually has fun associated with it.

Oh, now here's a cool looking building.  Nice architecture in Spain obviously.  Totally a plus.  Chicks dig architecture.

Yes! Now this is more my speed.  A bullfight!  Gambling tip: never bet on the bull.  I think it's rigged so he loses.

Wow.  I think just laying and looking at that sunset could impregnate me.

Then I searched for Spain and PARTY and I can find this:

Either an awesome party or an awesome riot.  I'll take either.

Caveat:  I was thinking more of my work/college stress comparison, and I realized that it only really holds true for me.  Many people who have jobs also have the whole family thing that they have to support.  So losing their jobs would also mean their family has to eat shoes and make their own penicillin with moldy bread.  Making work pretty stressful for them.  But for me, I have no one to support but my ant farm and they are almost mostly dead anyway.
