So, I guess I'm back and already in my normal flow after my 11 thousand mile, 35+ hours of travel, 4 day extravaganza. All in all, not bad. You know, the whole going to a funeral thing aside.
I got a trenchcoat. It is black and makes me look awesome. Too bad I'll never get to wear it ever again because of where I live.
I met the greatest single-serving friend in the history of the genre. She's this fully Americanized Polander like me who lives in Chicago. Almost making me want to move to Chicago. Well, actually making me want to move there, but not forcing me to go through with it just yet.
I got snowed on in March which is a rarity.
Not Me, but my Mom.
Not Me, but my marking.
Did you know that we got bonuses at work? I think that is a hint from destiny to tell me to buy things. Too bad I already have all the things I want. Mostly. I am taking tips from my subscription to GQ to help me find even more things though, so that's a blessing in disguise. As opposed to the more outright blessings that don't disguise themselves.
This Happened Once
My ant farm is going really well since I invited more of their extended family to join. Their tunnels are getting pretty good.
I would take a picture and post it, but then I'd have to leave my nice couch. Maybe another day. Anything is possible.
I got my second wind so here is a picture.
Look at that awesome tunnel. All the way to the bottom. I'm like a reasonably proud father.
And, you heard it hear first. I'm stepping my game up in the nutritional/exercise fields to get ready for what people sometimes refer to as "the summer." This is on the offchance that I go to a beach or wardrobely equivalent location.
Ohhh, and just as predicted I finished
the book I planned to read in around 2 days. And that was with minimal long-flight reading due to fore-mentioned single-serving-friend. Binge. I
think know I have a personality disorder. And I just discovered the strike-through function. To
no great acclaim.
