As long as I keep finding stuff that kicks ass that has somehow escaped me before, I'll be happy.
Currently, that's the band
Arcade Fire. Last week, I listened to their album
Funeral and this week it's
Neon Bible. It's very conducive to a positive work environment.
Segway into work, where yesterday was my 9 months anniversary. If I had had a
really good first day of work, I could have a kid right now. I did acquire a rhino in a snowglobe during that time though, so that's nothing to sneeze at.
Why would someone want to sneeze
at anything? I like sneezing as much as the next guy, but not on things. Usually just in the air after I step outside and my sun allergies kick in.
My tax refund came in today. So I can withdraw my bankruptcy paperwork. I like when the government works as a temporary saving account. Isn't that what social security was supposed to be originally? Before they decided to use it to siphon from hardworking geniuses like me to give to nimrods. Oh well, live and learn.
I watched
1984 this past weekend. The movie was pretty cool but I regret not reading it instead so I did extra wikipedia research afterwards. Totalitarian governments could be fun for a while. It saves you a lot of trouble like about having to make your mind up about things.
I don't know if I have the wherewithal to handle up on certain adult things. I'd like to hope I can step my game up if needbe, but if I had to worry about one of my parent's funerals I'd probably schedule my own funeral first.
Too many people at the gym do the stair climber machine but then bend over and basically put all their weight on their arms as they do it, so they are really just moving their legs with little/no body weight on them. You're not simulating climbing stairs and you are only simulating actually exercising.
I'd had this book to read for a while, I just haven't started yet. I know as soon as I start it, I'll binge and dominate it. I was mentally-devouring something like a book a day in the PL. That's my MO. Modus operandi to the non-Latin savvy.

For the longest time, I thought that the social security money was being saved up for me when I get old. I was pretty pissed...
