Aftershocks
Some effects of the recent super-hilly / cold Austin half-marathon:
- I now walk like Frankenstein if he had Polio due to how sore and stiff my muscles are.
- I walk around work really slow and efforted. This totally ruins my usual cool/confident walk.
- My feet feel like they are broken. Literally. Atleast cracked somewhere.
- My immune system went on auto-shutdown.
- I documented my sickness before the half-marathon I was worried about. I did the race and ran it well because I'm not a pussy. I wouldn't quit, but my immune system did.
- I got a cool Batman/Old Clint Eastwood sounding voice out of which was pretty cool to use on people at work.
- But then, my semi-annual pinkeye epidemic kicked in. I had to wear my spectacles to work for the first time today. But they could not stop the flames rising from behind my eyeballs.
- It was at this point I decided to leave work and go to the doctor. I didn't want the security gaurd at work to attack me thinking I was a possessed demon with firey eyes and a deep demonic voice.
- Here's a pro: I now have found a doctor in Houston. He is pretty cool. He went to UT. He's pretty young. He can be my doctor for a while. Keep me in tip top shape.
- So, as soon as my legs and nose and throat and eyes fix, I'll be good as new.
I do have something I want to burn on though. TOOLBOXES. I hate when you open a toolbox and use it, then you forget where in the box the tools go. It's impossible to remember. So they you try to put square pegs into circular holes.
What a tool. Kit.
