I resolved a long time ago that I would never, and I mean EVER, use the heater if I have a choice. Unfortunately, my college roomate was less Slavic and manly than me, and put it on. But now that I'm on my own, no way in hell I'll put it on. Though, I'll admit, it's been harder than I thought.
Yeah, so it gets around 55-60 in here. I'm not one to complain. Alot better than feeling dried up, smelling burning dust, getting an inevitable headache, and having to pay for heating. I almost consider wearing sweatpants around, but somehow, I still have some self-respect left.
I've been listening to
The Killers' new album
Day & Age today. It is sort of turning my mind into a yin-yang tie-dyed mishmash. First of all, I like rock music. This album is really not rock music. It sounds more like Brandon Flowers mixed with Depeche Mode. But somehow, I still think it's really good. And
so freaking catchy. I like other synth/techno stuff like LCD Soundsystem and TV on the Radio, but I like this album even more than those. I'm sure it will have me foot tapping all week at work.
I am just waiting for my defacto favorite band
The Strokes to put out something new. It's kinda crazy bands can put out maybe 40 minutes of music every 2 years, and that's all they gotta do. But I put out 40 hours of quality work every week and don't get nearly the credit.
I was eating my cereal today and I thought, "This milk tastes good. Really good." Then I got concerned and checked and realized that I had bought 2% instead of fat free. Uh oh. Maybe the taste is worth it. I'll need to analyze some more.
I'm doing a
5 mile run next weekend in Houston. It is holiday themed or something. Hopefully my run is ass-kicking themed because some other people from work are doing it. If any of them beats me I'll be forced to commit
Seppuku.
I'm trying to figure out when the best time to buy a new car is.
This site is pretty cool, it shows the trend in market prices for car models. I'm going to wait 'til the car companies go bankrupt and I can get the 2009
Dodge Charger I want (complete with the ability to switch from 8 cylinder to 4 for fuel efficiency) for next to nothing. I'd buy that for a dollar.

I don't think I could live without the heater, but I'm a teeny little non-manly girl, so that might be why. You seem really tough to me for doing it, haha.
I really like the Killers, even though I feel like I shouldn't, and I hope you don't have to commit Seppuku. That gets HELLA messy.
I'm stuck on the Black Ghosts the way you are the Killers......but I think I shall have to look into the Killer's new cd. I sure did love Hot Fuss until my two year old used it as a frisbee.
