• Faith No More - Epic

  Man, after a horrible week, today was great.  What a rebound.
  
  And a large percentage of it might have to do with this epic blast I heard this morning.  It was probably the most I've laughed at one thing in years.  And it was one of the top 5 funniest lines I've ever heard.
  
  We were allowed to wear jeans today on our floor as a reward for our participation in one of work's safety programs.  But it was also Halloween, so it wasn't that great of a reward since you could wear anything you wanted really because it's Halloween.
  
  Anyway, there's this guy at work who's kind of a redass.  You know, a no nonsense kinda guy.  And he refuses to participate in the safety program.  But, he was wearing jeans at work today.
  
  So, my friend goes up to him and the following conversation took place, paraphrased of course.
  "Hey, why are you wearing jeans today when it's our reward and you never participate?"
  "I'm not participating in your program, dickhead.  It's Halloween today.  I'm a mover."
  
  It was the greatest blast ever. The line "I'm a mover." goes right next to "Are you trying to seduce me?" as one of the most laugh inspiring things I've heard in my life.  Since when do movers wear collared shirts tucked into jeans?
  
  Oh, and I attribute my depression and general bad mood this week to a phenomenon known as post-marathon depression.  It's real. And it makes sense.  You work for a goal so long and then it's over all of a sudden.  It makes sense. But I got another race to look forward to now, so I should be fine.
  
  Anyway, that's all I got.  Gotta get on my Captain Adama costume and do some Halloweening.
