  • Talking Points

#1: Memo to mailman: If you have to crumble my Sports Illustrated to smitherines in order to stick in some more 5 cent off coupons. Don't do it. Just shove the junkmail directly up your ass, and cut out the middle man: me shoving it up your ass.

#2: This guy in the bathroom at this bar the other day gave me a VIP card to this carwash.  It was because I humored his urinal conversation.  So I got that going for me.  Now if only my car wasn't totally destroyed with hurricane scratches it might be worth washing.

#3: After years of holding myself off from watching Battlestar Galactica, I have started.  I always knew I would love it and binge on it, so I decided to save it incase of emergency.  Like when my life hit doldrums and started to suck.  That time is now.

#4: I've been volunteering alot at the homeless shelter lately.  The traffic in there has been crazy since the hurricane.  I can barely make enough gruel to feed everyone.

#5: I was really sore the other day, especially in my right arm area, and I couldn't come up with a reason.  I assumed I had arm cancer and would require amputation.  Then I remembered that I had tossed a football around at my after-work social flag football game, and it was the first time in a while.  Being a three-year veteran of UT intramural football, it was nice to get back on the field.

#6: I haven't cut my hair in 2.5 months or so, and it is becoming cool.  It is like 3 inches long and long enough for me to braid it alittle when I'm bored.  And yes, people are often surprised to learn I am an excellent expert hair braider.  I learned senior year of highschool and haven't looked back.

#7: I got goosebumps hearing Texas Fight on the radio a few days ago.  And I was actually at alltime engrossed watching the game today.  As much as I try to be too cool for school, I've got the Longhorn blood running through me still.  All the bandwagoners after 2005 turned me off, but I have a degree from the University of Texas so I'll always be tied to it, which makes me legit.  2 legit 2 quit.
