So now I'm on a full-on Coldplay binge. Their most recent album grew on me so much I was forced to illegally download ERRRR lawfully purchase all of their other albums. And they became the exclusive theme to my life at work. And my life outside of work for that matter.
So if liking Coldplay makes you gay then sign me up. Yeah, I like pianos and violins and synthesizers and catchy hooks. Is that so wrong?
And the thing is, I can't just like something and have that be that. I become rabid. Be it on books, television shows, music, girls, what have you, I binge. That's my personality and it can be debilitating but fun simultaneously.
It's the same personality trait that makes me chew 4 packs of gum a day. And makes me go to the gym everyday after work. Although some of that is obsessive compulsive tendencies as well. It's a smorgasbord thereof.
One thing that's always pissed me off is computers. Like when the computer tells you something like "Can't delete file because it's in use." Well, fuck, you're my fucking computer, do what I say. I don't like being backsassed by a machine.
And whenever I wake up in the morning and find that Windows restarted itself for an "important update" it makes me furious. I wanted my computer on all night for a reason. I don't care how important the update is. I don't care if it's an update to my kidney to prevent my impending death, ask me first.
I need to go listen to more Coldplay and read lyrics and trivia relating to Coldplay.
