Rear View Mirror
First and foremost, I'm stoked about the network I have built in the Houston metro area. I'm currently staying with a couple of my best friends, the power couple Joey and Amber, better known as Jamber, at their apartment henceforth known as the Jamboreum.
It's an excellent feeling to know you have a couch to call your own when you need it, which I'm privileged to have tonight. And let it be noted, that without this very Xanga, the very potent chemical reaction known as Jamber would never have formed, so this blog has that going for it, which is nice.
Starting tomorrow and for the following week, I'll be staying with my friend since the 5th grade, the Philthy Pharmacist. I'd expound further but it's not necessary.
In a pseudo review segment, I'd like to say I really dug the LOST finale. My heart grew three times when Desmond and Penny reunited. Spoiler alert, by the way.
And for another quick review, I must say Grand Theft Auto IV is like 5 excellent video games and 2 Oscar award winning movies thrown into a single game. I usually can't deal with non-sports games for very long, but I've devoted hours upon hours of my time to this.
The plot is just so good, with so many quotes, and such a rainbow of emotions. It sucks, because when a movie is awesome I can say "Hey, watch this." but with a game it's hard to really share your enthusiasm. Suffice it to say, I'm maximum impressed. And I'm not maximum impressed easily.
I start work in T-minus 30 hours or so. And I'm not nervous one bit. I guess I've grown calmer in my own age. Or strangely indifferent. One of those two.
I'll probably get some butterflies when I first pull into the work parking lot that morning. Because really, what's life without butterflies? Just a bunch of cocoons.
