  • Return of the Mack

Too bad about the impromptu miniature hiatus.  Sometimes there's more to life than being really, really, really, really good at blogging.

I'm currently still in Houston after coming to lay the foundation for the next few years of my epic life, but I'll get in my rocket powered car and go to Austin soon.  Then I've got to "Take It To The Limit One More Time" ala the Eagles before finally being done with school.

My fun in Houston has been of Biblical proportions.  They might ammend the Bible just to add some of this stuff in.  My friend Phil arguing with a cop at Whataburger because she didn't enforce handicap parking?  That is so Seinfeldian in nature it's unbelievable.  But it's real, and it's spectacular.

Things are going so well that this weirdo cat running around hasn't even given me allergies.  But, actually, maybe I WANT allergies...

Scenario: Astros game with tons of friends.  First Inning.  I'm all like, "Yay, Go Team Go!" You know, the stuff you're supposed to do because it's AMERICA and it's a SPORTING EVENT.  But then, one of my friends friends is like, "Err, You shouldn't yell because I have allergies so my ears are hyper sensitive."  Holy mother of pearl!

I don't remember Captain America being injected with household allergens instead of the Super Soldier Serum.  If I would have known that having a stuffy nose also helps earn you super-hearing, super-vision, super-strength, teleportation, the power of flight, and super fast swimming, I would have been purposely rubbing myself with pollen the last twenty years.  No, you suck! Your allergies suck, your ears suck, I like to yell and I hate you.  That's the moral of that story.

That, and life is but a dream.  I've always liked that moral too.

    Addendum:

I was watching In The Line Of Fire back over Spring Break, and Clint Eastwood put it perfectly: "A good glare can be just as effective as a gun. Know what I mean?"

Oh yeah, Clint.  I know exactly what you mean.
