  • Fruits of Labor

I can't remember a year with such weird weather.  My walk to school will be freezing ass cold, but by mid-afternoon it's stifling hot.  Factor in the hellacious wind, and you have a strange cocktail.  Or maybe caring so much about the weather is just a sign of getting old.

Another thing I'm caring about is facebook's new ads.  I understand that facebook is a company, and since they don't charge fees, they need advertisements for a revenew stream.  But they could be a bit more selective.

I don't know if they're trying to tell me something, but lately this gem has been popping up alot as I'm looking around.

Chat with Local Gay Guys? I appreciate the montage of shirtless presumably gay guys, but come on facebook,  I'm not gay, and I don't want to "Come Play."  I don't swing that way.  I'M NOT THAT WAY! Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I liked it better when you were promising me I could meet 5 girls in 5 minutes.

I guess you're covering all your bases.  I'm either a gay loser who has to click some advertisement to find gay love, or I'm a straight loser who thinks some website will help him meet 5 girls in 5 minutes.

Well, sorry facebook, I'm not either.  I'm just a normal loser who won't fall for your advertising trickery.

Now if they had an advertisement telling me where I can buy a pet mongoose, I might be interested.  I recently decided that a fox would be too hard to keep in an apartment as a pet, and a mongoose is probably cooler anyway.  The mongoose could help me in case of a King Cobra attack too.

Look at that beautiful bastard strike.  What a perfect pet.

I once had a pet ferret named Peppy, and ferrets are almost like mongooses. Peppy died of some weird tropical disease when I was in 4th grade.  Here's a picture of me and him.

Maybe I'll name my future pet mongoose Peppy the 2nd in his honor.

That's a cute picture. I had a pet monkey while I lived in the Philippines... and mongoose as a pet? That would be interesting.

You were an adorable kid!! I always wanted a ferret but I heard they were smelly so my mom wouldn't let me have one. We had mice though. Those were fun.

Yeah a mongoose would be way cooler. I mean how many people can say they have a mongoose. I might have to get one too. I'm scared of snakes.

The weather! Don't get me started on that. I know just what you mean. I walk to school, takes me about 15 minutes, I'm freezing when I leave and sweating when I get there. Burning up in the afternoon and freezing again at night. And no we are NOT getting old.

    awwww!

The ones I see on facebook that get me are the "Are you fat?" ones...um, I think I know I'm fat - I don't need to click on a spam inducing ad to find out the obvious!

I love ferrets! My best friend growing up had eight of them. We would play with them and let them crawl all over us. The only problem is there was one mean one that used to bite me.

I hate the weather right now! I'm ready for it to be Spring and stay Spring! No more of this indecisive crap.
