  • White Mail

I've lived in this apartment for more than a year and a half now, but I'll still occasionally get mail for residents from decades ago.

Like, who the f is Lindsey Whitely?  She probably hasn't lived here since the Korean War.  Is she the girl who put the glow in the dark star stickers on my ceiling?  If so, I'd like to thank her.  They are pretty.

I've run 32 miles this week including today.  That's like all the way past Round Rock.  Or like into space if I ran straight upwards.

I've become privy to a vestige of the track now that the weather is warming up.  Runs without a shirt guy.  I hate this guy.  Wearing a shirt isn't that hard, I swear.  You just stick your head through the big hole and your arms through the smaller ones.

And these guys haven't earned the right to run shirtless. Like the guy today looked like a pastier, fatter, version of Jared from Subway.  My friend described him as "rough around the edges."

I've got the skills to run shirtless, but I don't want to embarrass all the weaklings running around at the track.  Plus I'm not a loser.

I had an excellent time being an assistant towards a highly ambitious ethnography last night.  I'm a scholar.  I enjoy scholarly pursuits.  My conclusion was that most people that go to the mall are stupid.  Especially kids.  Teenagers these days have no respect.  I think it's all the violent movies they watch.  They like to climb things, and play fight, and jump over eachother.  And security guards these days do nothing about it.  The security industry is going to hell in a handbasket.

I've got to go do one of my least favorite tasks now.  Laundry.  Laundry day can be a very dangerous day.

this made me laugh and go "woah, oh yea" almost simultaneously. I'm sure I looked like I had to sneeze.
