23 years. That's a pretty long time. I don't know how many more I have in me, but so far so good, right?
I've had my share of shit over the years. Less than most, but probably more than some. I've had times that seemed horrible and I thought I'd never get over it.
But you know what, every single time, be it after a week, a month, or maybe even years afterwards, I've looked back and laughed on it. Without fail.
I don't want to go all Baz Luhrmann on you, but if there's anything I've come to believe, it's that things will work out.
And there are enough moments where you know you couldn't be happier to outweigh those when you think you couldn't feel worse.
Getting older is tough. I know I haven't come to the worse of it, but I'm confident that the best is still ahead, too.
And that's why I keep going.
