  • Humans Being

The human psyche is a weird thing.  So many strange intricacies.  Like how you only want something when you can't have it.  The whole "grass is always greener" idiom. And Stockholm Syndrome.  What's up with that?

I don't understand why the feeling of sadness would ever evolve into the human condition.  I'm not entirely sure how some of its manifestations are conducive to survival.

One guy who knows about survival is Rex, as featured in Rex and the City.

I haven't been this depressed since 2 years ago, when my sadness manifested itself into a period of dishing out sagelike advice.

Now it's manifesting itself into trying my damndest to watch Gob Bluth and be distracted.

Ironically, it was the famous passing out in the grass story that put my life on track last go 'round.  Maybe I need to mix in some of that.
