• Luck of the Polish

  Maybe my luck is finally turning around.  Things are looking like they'll be pretty cool this semester.
  
  I applied for this scholarship on a whim last semester, and I got it somehow, so now I have extra money.  So, I got that going for me.  I think maybe I'll go down to the track.  Put it all on a horse.  Make a big score.
  
  School is going to rule.  I have my first African-American teacher in all my life.  She is my history teacher, she rules.
  
  I'm a big proponent of racial harmony.  I get so giddy when I see interracial couples.  I saw that David Garrard, a black guy who's the quarterback of the Jaguars, had a white wife, and I got so excited.  I just want black people to love white people and vice versa.  Like the black and white cookie.  Look to the cookie.
  
  I'm trying to get up to date with contemporary music.  I need stuff to chock my ipod with so I can be entertained while I run around. I have over 3900 mp3s, but I'm very selective about what goes on the ipod.  Since it's mostly for my exercising, it needs to be something with a good beat that makes me happy and energetic.
  
  Since I have to boycott sports radio to avoid depression for a while, I've made up for the void in my entertainment by watching Superbad over and over again.  Oh, how I do love it.
  
  I finally got around to designing a black Rex and the City shirt.  Only a little over 2 years after I first sold any of this crap.  I figured since I got that money, I might as well buy myself one.  So, I'll be representing and looking good.
