I find New Year's severely overrated. Alot of people use this opportunity to make resolutions and attempt to change their lives and blah blah. Then they go back to normal in 2 weeks anyway.
That's why, when I want to change my life, I just do it. Right then and there. No middle man of New Year's necessary.
If I remember correctly, my even numbered years have been pretty good. So 2008 could be good. Wait, was it the even numbered years or my even numbered ages that have been good?
I can't remember.
I don't talk about dreams, because no one cares about a dream but the person having it. But I'll just say that I had a dream that the Cowboys lost their first playoff game (to the Redskins in my dream), and I was devastated.
Hopefully this is one of those reverse premonitions. Where you predict the opposite of what will really happen.
Now that I think about it, this decade has sort of sucked. The music, television, movies, etc. pale in comparison to the 90's. But that's a topic for another day. I don't want to start this year off on a complanatory note. Complanatory is not a real word, but it should be.
Speaking of words, I learned a new one yesterday. Defenestrate. It means to throw out of a window. I don't know why they need such a long complicated word for that single action. I would have missed that one on the SAT.
Suffice it to say, throwing myself out of a window will be my method of suicide if the situation ever arises. I just want the word "defenestrate" in my obituary.
