  • Mysteries of the Universe

Sometimes when I peruse the internet at night, philosophy and more selfish explorations into my inner psyche are put on the backburner.

It is times like these where I tackle more important pursuits - such as time travel.

I'm a relatively smart guy, but sometimes I wish I was just way smarter.  Like smart enough to dedicate myself to the mysteries of the universe - like string theory and parallel dimensions and all the other great stuff.

Since I don't have time to get a formal education on these topics that I'm interested in, I spend my time going all through wikipedia to learn about it.

I've gained tons of useless knowledge on all sorts of things like wormholes and telepathy and chronovisors and the Philadelphia Experiment and lots of cool conspiracy theories.

Eventually it just leads to me getting my mind blown.  This could be just as easily accomplished by staring up at the stars at night and wondering what's out there.

Alas, it seems I, and the rest of the current living population, are fated to never know.  Instead of putting our resources into intergalactic travel, it seems that the inhabitants of earth would rather worry about wars, oil, marijuana, and Jamie Lynn Spears.

O ignorant world, with such people in it.
