I got a pretty good place since I staked a claim on a spot early.  Right against middle aisle and pretty close.

    Pretty cool shot I took.

Ween played many badass songs (all of which I knew except for their 2 or so covers)
From my list of wants they played :
Exactly Where I'm At (played as opener.maybe my favorite of their songs, includes my favorite line "I'm All Staged, It's all an act.")
What Deaner Was Talking About (I honestly didn't think they'd do this rather unknown one, but they did it beautifully.  This is the song I've played more than any other on my computer according to my tracker.)
Touch My Tooter (great catchy song from their earlier stuff)
Piss Up A Rope (great country)

They played Buckingham Green too and Spinal Meningitis and other great stuff.

My Ween shirt is cool cuz it doesn't say Ween, but Ween fans know what it is.  I talked to this one Ween fan there that I saw later.  He had a Ween Tattoo.  I was like "yeah dude, I have a Ween shirt so you know I'm a fan but I guess I'm not as hardcore as you." We talked about how awesome their set was and he was surprised it was my first show of theirs to see.  It was his fourth but he saw them in other states since they don't really come to Texas alot.  It was great seeing these dudes in person after listening to their stuff for probably 10,000 hours.

I don't usually appreciate guitar work, but during Voodoo Lady, Deaner had it working pretty badass.  Awesome.

    More ACL
    ACLKateMe
Me and Katy P chillin in the atmosphere.

    ACLLips
Awesome show by the flaming lips including about 100 people dressed as Santa, Superheros, Aliens, etc including inflatable spacemen and wild shit.  The lead singer got into a giant plastic bubble reminiscent of a hampster ball and he rolled over the crowd and they rolled him all around.  Badass entertainment.

    ACLMeJoe
    Then we saw Christy wahooo.

    ACLMUSE
I had never heard MUSE before but they were really high powered with good energy.

    ACLPetStage
Here's Tom Petty's stage from about a thousand miles away.  We didn't explicitely camp for him, but then people started leaving when the rain started coming down, but me and Katy went closer.  I got to hear him sing The Traveling Wilbury's "Handle With Care", one of my favorite alltime songs.

Going Home from the show after the rain.

The sun comes up and I'm all washed out...

Saw you stumbled by my site, so i thought i'd do the same.

I'm so jealous, i was dying to go to ACL but i had no money. Muse is one of my very favorite bands ever...if you liked them, you should look up/find a way to own "Knights of Cydonia", which you probably heard in their set, and which is their big single right now, and "Unintended", which no one knows and is suprisingly mellow and sweet.

    See you round xanga... ^.^
